Gift Me’s existing website was in need of some serious work. It was difficult to navigate, outdated and not properly mobile optimized – basically an amateur website with a more affluent target demographic. The project also had tight turnarounds and strict requirements, so the work needed to be done quick and efficiently.

Seeing as I had less than a week to deliver the first draft, I combined a few steps and built the sitemap into the wireframes rather than produce a separate document. I also wrote most of the headlines and copy myself to provide templates for how those sections should be structured and what words/elements to emphasize.

The friend who introduced me to this client constructed the design directly from my wires in XD, with my oversight for usability and technical guidance.

Ultimately, the client loved the direction, but this project never came to fruition due to a litany of internal company reasons. It was always intended to be revisited at a later date, but that would ultimately be handled without me unless specific UX additions were needed.
