Desert Does It

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Desert Does It is a local auto parts manufacturer and storefront, specializing in custom-built truck seat risers and multi-mount panels. They came to me via an old coworker’s recommendation and required a complete website overhaul. DDI was already established on Shopify and wished to stay on platform (which turned out to be my first project using Shopify).

This project was an invaluable learning experience that pushed my skills to new levels and DDI remains one of my best clients to date.

DDI came to me with a barebones, unorganized website that was built with a basic Shopify theme. This got them by while their business was starting out, but as their sales increased and reached new markets, they needed a more professional looking website with more intuitive user flows.

Wanted to sell more Front Seat Jackers (their patented product) with increased promotions
Needed to abide by privacy laws (GDPR and California Privacy Act) and ADA compliance
